Validating energy savings with confidence and clarity

Our Measurement & Verification (M&V) feature empowers energy managers and facility operators to validate the impact of energy-saving interventions. By comparing baseline data with post-intervention performance, normalizing for external conditions, and generating industry-compliant reports, the system builds confidence in energy savings and supports informed decision-making.

Problem

Customers implementing manual or automated energy-saving measures had no systematic way to track, validate, and communicate the real impact of their interventions. They relied on spreadsheets and inconsistent methods, which made it hard to prove savings, comply with standards, or justify ROI to stakeholders.

Solution

We designed an integrated M&V workflow within the analytics dashboard.
  • Intervention Tracking: Users can create intervention events across panels, zones, or portfolios.
  • Weather Normalization: Adjusts for local climate conditions to reveal the true impact.
  • Compliance & Reporting: Supports IPMVP and Energy Star validation formats for industry-standard reporting.
  • ROI Insights: Allows entry of intervention costs to calculate payback and inform future designs.
